A Downtown Annapolis Engagement Session

Whoop whoop, we ended our engagement session triple header weekend back in the great state of Maryland! Okay Virginia, I’ll admit that you have us beat when it comes to cherry trees. But we’ve got football and crabcakes baby, and THAT’S WHAT MARYLAND DOES. We’ve also got Annapolis, one of my favorite cities in the whole world. Kati and Jesse agree with me, too! Annapolis is their favorite date spot, so it was only natural that we headed here for their engagement session.

We met these two on an overcast spring day, right on the docks downtown. It was a little breezy, which proved to be a larger challenge than normal – because Kati and Jesse both have AMAZING heads of hair! Just look at those majestic locks! Ugh, life is so unfair. Fortunately, they laughed it off like champs and embraced the wind!

The engagement session is the perfect opportunity to get to know our couples and chat about their wedding plans. Kati and Jesse are planning a December wedding at The Barn at Pleasant Acres with lots of gorgeous winter details. It’s so great to see a groom that’s involved in the planning too, which Jesse totally is!

Kati mentioned that Kilwins was a special place for them, so we stopped in for a scoop at the end of the session! I think this was my favorite part of our time together. There’s nothing like ice cream on a Sunday afternoon, and these two made waffle cones look goooood! Thanks so much for trusting us this afternoon, guys!
