Lindsay & Chris | A Summertime Annapolis Wedding

Lindsay & Chris | A Summertime Wedding in Annapolis

I still remember the first time I talked to Lindsay, about this time last year. We hit it off right away over the phone, chatting about her wedding plans and their baby boy, Colton. I remember thinking, I just really like this girl’s vibe! Thankfully that feeling went both ways! It’s been such a joy getting to know Lindsay and Chris and watching Colton grow, and we truly felt more like friends than vendors on their wedding day!

Lindsay and Chris complement each other perfectly, and they’re both some of the most kind and considerate people you’ll ever meet. Throughout the day, Lindsay made sure to check in with us and her guests, making sure we had what we needed and that everyone was enjoying themselves. They even generously extended the reception an additional hour, so that their guests could keep the party going longer!

The reception was certainly a party, but it was a day filled with emotion. Lindsay’s beloved grandmother passed away just a few months ago, and Lindsay’s eyes filled with bittersweet tears as she slipped her grandmother’s cocktail ring onto her finger. The processional was one to remember. As Lindsay walked up the aisle, Chris was overcome with emotion. These two promised forever to each other as their son watched from the front row, and it was simply beautiful. It felt like a moment that had been a lifetime in the making.

Chris and Lindsay chose to have a first look before the ceremony, but this one had a little twist! Lindsay decided to play a prank on Chris, arranging for one of his friends to wear a wedding dress and sneak up on him. Chris expected to turn around and see Lindsay – but instead, it was Steve! He just about fell to his knees laughing, and it was seriously one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen! When the real first look finally happened, these two hugged and giggled and Chris remarked that Lindsay looked so much better than Steve. Gotta love their sense of humor!

Usually I’m a little sad when a wedding day ends, because it means my time with the couple is coming to a close. But not this time, because we’ve already got their next session on the books! Colton’s birthday is just a few weeks away, and I can’t wait to see these three again soon. Please enjoy getting to know them through this little peek into their wedding day!

Congratulations, Chris and Lindsay – and Colton! We love you!

engaged couple walks through Williamsburg NYC

There’s something incredibly special about capturing couples in a place that feels like home… especially when that place is Brooklyn, NYC. For Danny and Paige, choosing their neighborhood of Williamsburg for their engagement session wasn’t just convenient. It was deeply personal. It’s where they live, walk their dog, grab coffee, and live their lives together. […]
