A Great Falls Double Header Styled Shoot

Weddings may look a little different these days, but love is most definitely not cancelled! When I first heard about Kassie’s vision for her double header styled shoot, I knew I had to be there.

The first shoot was a styled elopement at Great Falls Park featuring lush greenery and touches of lavender, to give couples inspiration for a more adventurous elopement location just outside Washington, DC! The second was a styled micro wedding complete with a socially-distanced, beautifully styled reception space for an intimate guest list, all in a beautiful peach and navy color palette.

As real couples are having to reimagine their wedding plans, it’s my hope that these images demonstrate that weddings can still be beautiful even with a smaller guest list! If anything, couples now have quite a bit of freedom to showcase even more of their personalities. A micro wedding is the perfect opportunity to experiment with fun details such as a unique color palette, dramatic floral styling, personalized favors, and custom cocktails.

Be sure to check out the vendor team that made this incredible styled shoot possible!

Engagement sessions are meant to be romantic, intimate, and centered on the quiet connection between two people in love. There is something about being out on the water with sunlight dancing across the water’s surface and the […]

I’ve honestly lost track of how many times I’ve photographed this family now, and each time truly gets better and better! Sticking with one photographer over the years is one of the best things a family can do, because it allows everyone to feel more comfortable and genuinely enjoy the session. One thing is certain, […]

When you have clients that love and appreciate art as much as Isabella and Jory, you find a way to showcase that love in photos. For them, that meant a National Gallery of Art engagement session. It turned out more perfect than I could have imagined. Including personal items or highlighting shared interests is something […]
