An Elevated Autumn Wedding at Baltimore Country Club

Chris & Courtney

Autumn is in full swing and I am so here for it! Chris and Courtney’s Baltimore Country Club wedding was the perfect balance of elevated fall tones and fun, personalized details. Julie of Partridge Avenue Events absolutely nailed the design, creating a celebration that perfectly represented this fun and kind-hearted couple!

Chris and Courtney live in Boston, but Courtney is from Baltimore and the two enjoy a fun rivalry between the two cities’ sports teams. They share a deep love of music – especially live music – and even hired one of their favorite bands, Kristen and the Noise, to play at the reception!

Long before the packed dance floor, the day began with the boys enjoying a game in the bowling alley while the girls got ready upstairs. It’s no surprise that these two are surrounded by friends that are just as warm and fun-loving as they are! The celebratory atmosphere lingered all day long, with friends cheering them on from a window during the couples’ first look.

After the first look, Chris and Courtney exchanged vows privately – one of my favorite moments of the day. The fun continued as the wedding party joined us for formal portraits! The leaves were just beginning to turn, giving us a hint of fall color that complimented the autumnal color palette perfectly.

Guests were treated to a display of refreshing infused cocktails as they arrived at Baltimore Country Club. The ceremony space was absolutely breathtaking, taking place in a private garden on the property. Florals festooned anything that would stand still, including the stone staircase and trio of acrylic ceremony installations, designed by Partridge Avenue Events.

The cheers echoed across the garden as Chris and Courtney shared their first kiss as husband and wife, and the party officially began! The fall palette and personal touches continued into the reception space. The rock candy escort card display was a hit, as well as the hand painted cake created by Baltimore Country Club.

After dinner and toasts, everyone made their way to the adjoining room for dancing – which went on all night long! Kristen and the Noise kept the dance floor packed, but there was still one more surprise waiting for the couple. Courtney’s brother took the stage to serenade the couple to “Banks to Your River” by Need to Breathe. It was an intoxicating moment that I was so thankful to be there to document.

There’s so much more I could say, but I’ll let the images speak for themselves! Chris and Courtney, thank you for choosing me to document this incredible day for you. Shoutout to their rockstar vendor team:
