Anna & John
If you know Anna and John, you know that these two are a perfect match. They both have a warm, calming presence, genuinely care for those around them, and are ridiculously in love with each other. Their wedding at Jubilee Farm in Southern Maryland was the perfect embodiment of their best qualities, and I’m thrilled to share it with you!
The forecast was clear leading up to the event, but as I began my drive to Jubilee Farm, suddenly a heavy rain began to fall. I couldn’t help but panic a bit. The chance of rain had been 3%, but here it was POURING just a few miles from their wedding venue! Adam saved the day by swinging by to drop off my umbrellas and rain gear, and luckily, we ended up not even needing it! Instead, we were treated to a dream spring wedding day forecast: lightly overcast with comfortable temperatures!
Anna and John leaned into the spring season for their wedding inspiration, opting for a palette of orchid, blush, lilac, and navy. I was particularly obsessed with their florals, and the bow detail on Anna’s dress! So stunning. But as always, it was the moments that stole the show for me – like when John saw Anna for the first time, or the way Anna melted into a puddle while taking portraits with her parents, or their heartfelt words of gratitude for their guests before dinner.
The rain held off through the ceremony, and it only sprinkled for a few moments during cocktail hour. We got so lucky! We even managed to sneak off for a few moments of romantic portrait time after dinner. Then it was back to the reception, where the party was in full swing on the dance floor!
Anna and John, I’m wishing you two nothing but the best! Congratulations, and have the best time in Europe this summer!
