Wedding days are always full of memorable moments, but there was something special about Paige and Oliver’s autumn wedding at Herrington on the Bay in North Beach, MD. Between the gorgeous waterfront location, the lovely fall weather, and the joy that filled their day, it was definitely a wedding to remember! There was so much emotion throughout their day. Paige and Oliver completely embraced their feelings and their joy was evident all day long. The smiles they wore all day long said it all. 

Autumn Wedding at Herrington on the Bay

The bride and her crew had a fun morning of getting ready. They toasted with some bubbly and you could tell right from the start the energy was high and it was going to be a good day! The waterfront location allowed them to enjoy ocean views from their balcony. After getting ready, Paige made her way to the front of the property to meet Oliver for their intimate and heartfelt first look and private vow exchange. It was the sweetest moment, as Oliver was clearly overwhelmed with emotion at seeing his bride for the first time. 

Outdoor Wedding Ceremony 

Their ceremony took place outside on The Lawn at Herrington with beautiful views of the bay just beyond. Guests could see the water on the horizon and the ceremony space was framed with greenery, blooming flowers, and a wooden pergola structure.

Paige and Oliver incorporated a vibrant color palette that contrasted perfectly with the natural waterfront beauty of Herrington. The bright pink and bold orange flowers were balanced with greenery and pops of light yellow. These gorgeous flowers by Arrow Bella Weddings made up the wedding bouquets, covered the pergola at their ceremony, and decorated the tables at their reception. 

The bridesmaids wore different style, patterns, and pink colored dresses, and it looked amazing. To coordinate different dresses in varying colors can be tricky but they pulled it off beautifully.

Chesapeake Ballroom Reception

Their Chesapeake Ballroom reception was a dream. This tented venue option allows guests to enjoy the waterfront views all evening, as well as have access to a dock on the water, which happens to be the perfect spot for sunset portraits! We took full advantage of this spot capturing the most goegeous portraits as the sun set over the water painting the sky in soft pastel colors.

Inside the tent, tulle fabric drapes across the ceiling along with twinkling lights and a stunning chandelier in the center.  After heartfelt toasts and dinner, the dance floor opened up. Oliver surprised Paige by hiring a saxophone player to join the party during the reception. It was such a fun, high energy moment! 

As the night came to an end, the newlyweds exited their reception to a bubble send off before hopping in a boat to drive off on the water. When you get married on the water, a boat exit is a must!
