Oh my goodness, this family. I have photographed Candi and her sweet little crew several times now, and it’s always such a pleasure to have repeat clients that feel more like friends. You may remember her stunning maternity session from last spring, and this vintage-inspired generational portrait session was just as sweet!
Quinn’s dad is away for work for extended periods of time, so Candi’s mom, Pam, moved in to help. She’s been with Candi and Quinn ever since, becoming an irreplaceable part of their family in a way most grandparents aren’t able to. We wanted to create portraits to celebrate their special bond, and I’d say we succeeded!
How lucky is Quinn to be raised by such strong, loving women?! Pam’s selflessness just blows me away, and I can totally see where Candi gets her strength. This session came during a tough season in my own life, having just lost my grandmother a few days prior, but it was exactly what my soul needed.
These photographs are worth so much more than a quick double tap on social media. They are part of this family’s legacy, and will one day be the most precious gift in the world to Quinn. I hope that she looks at them and sees just how loved she is! What I would give to have portraits like this of me and my grandparents.
I scooped up this gorgeous pram at an antique shop last year. Candi loves all things vintage (just ask about the car she’s got back home in Tennessee!), so I knew this would be perfect for their mother-daughter portraits. Sure enough, Quinn was just the right size!
Until next time, Wilson family! xoxo 🙂
