1. What should we wear?

The most important thing is to choose clothing that everyone is comfortable in. You want to look like a slightly dressier version of your normal selves! Long flowy dresses for mom and girls, well-fitting dark denim for dad and boys, and soft neutrals like cream, grey, and navy are always great choices. Consider adding pops of color such as mustard or plum to complement the autumn tones. Avoid stark white, and anything with words/graphic tees is a no-go!

2. Do you provide props / is there a theme?

Nope, I am not a proppy photographer! The theme is timeless fall portraits with your family, that will never look dated or silly as trends change. I always bring a simple quilt just in case we need to sit on the ground, but otherwise, these images are all about you!

3. What’s included?

You’ll receive a 30-minute session with me and my assistant, Leigh, as well as the complete gallery of final edited images with print release. No worrying about narrowing down favorites or paying for more images on the back end, you get them all! A typical mini session yields at least 20-25 images, plenty for holiday cards, a gallery for the wall or even a small album! The cost is $300.

4. How do we book?

Everything is online and hassle-free this year! In the next few days, this post will be updated with a secure online booking link where you can view availability, selected your preferred appointment, and purchase all from the convenience of your phone or computer. No more emailing back and forth or waiting for a phone call! Current clients and mailing list subscribers will receive early access to the booking link today, so be sure to send an email if you’re not on my list!

5. What happens if it rains or we can’t attend?

In the event of poor weather, rain dates have been reserved on October 27th and 28th. In the event that something comes up and you’re no longer able to attend, we’ll make every effort to reschedule the session or apply the cost to a future session. The session may also be transferred to another client, but there will be no refunds once purchased.

Ready to book? Head here to reserve your appointment today! Can’t wait to see ya there.
