May 2019 Friday Favorites Giveaway

I’ve got something special up my sleeve, and it’s finally time to share the secret! All summer long, AWP will host monthly giveaways in collaboration with some of my FAVORITE brands and artisans. I’m so excited to share more of my world with you, as well as introduce you to a few of the things that fill my heart with joy!

May’s giveaway is a $50 gift certificate to Simply Jessica Marie, home of The Crest Bar! I’ve adored Jessica’s watercolor and crest designs for so long. When she debuted The Crest Bar earlier this year, I jumped at the chance to have one of our very own! This piece of artwork is so special to me. Some of you may know that we’ve gone back and forth on adding a third child to our family, which doesn’t seem to be in the cards right now. It’s caused projects like this crest or updating our family portraits to go on the back burner, which isn’t good. This crest is a beautiful reminder to celebrate ourselves just as we are right now! I cannot wait to display it on our walls along with our new family portraits later this summer!

Jessica’s crests aren’t just for families: they’re the PERFECT addition to a wedding, too! Just imagine your own crest on your wedding invitations, matted and framed on display at your reception, or even printed onto cocktail napkins! It’s the perfect way to personalize your event.

My favorite thing about The Crest Bar is that there are so many ways to customize each crest. From the color palette, to the icons included, even the florals can be changed. (I chose hydrangeas because we had them at our wedding!) You can even have custom icons created for you, such as a special landmark or even a portrait of your pet!
