The Wagner Family | A Southern Maryland Summer Family Session

It may be scorching hot outside today, but the day of the Wagner family session was so perfect! We had a slight breeze coming off the water, and we had Jefferson Patterson Park all to ourselves. I love scheduling portrait sessions on weekdays for this exact reason!

The Wagner family has so much to celebrate this summer! Big sister Malaya turned four this month, and the twins recently reached the six-month milestone. Family sessions with young ones can be tricky, but these kids were so well-behaved! We started out with some updated family portraits, then we moved into portraits of each child. My favorite moment was when a butterfly landed on the bush next to us, and it even let Malaya get just a few inches away!

The twins, Freddie and Ellie, already have so much personality. Ellie may be the smaller baby, but she definitely lets Freddie know that she’s in charge! And sweet Malaya was so comfortable in front of the camera. It just took letting her be herself and get her sillies out, and then she was ready to play ball!
