A Downtown Annapolis Engagement Session

Anna & John

I finally got to meet Anna and John for their engagement session a few weeks ago! Honestly it feels like I already know these two thanks to social media. Not only are they the SWEETEST and so easy to work with, but they came so prepared for their session with me! I was so impressed. Anna had their outfits planned perfectly, right down to the perfect shade of lilac for portraits near the famous bike mural in Annapolis.

Annapolis is a favorite date night location for Anna and John, so it was an obvious choice for their engagement portraits. It was a beautiful spring day, but a little chilly and WINDY! Being photographed can be a little awkward at first, but these two made my job so easy. Even when battling the wind, they just rolled with it and we had the best time!

After meeting near the State House, we made our way down to the waterfront for a few dock portraits. John requested a few photos near one of their favorite date spots, Chick and Ruth’s Delly, to which I said heck yes! Anytime one of my clients has a request for photos, especially a groom, I absolutely try to make it happen. The whole point of engagement sessions is to get to know my couples, and fun stops like this are such a great way to make the photos unique! I ended up standing on a chair on Main Street to get these, but it was totally worth it.

Congratulations, Anna and John! Can’t wait to celebrate with you at Jubilee Farm next spring!
