A Fells Point and Orioles Park Engagement Session

Courtney and Chris

What can I say about Courtney and Chris? These two are so fun and warm hearted, and we felt like old friends immediately. We met on a foggy, misty Saturday morning in the Fells Point area of Baltimore. Can you believe I’d actually never been to Fells Point before this session?!

It’s such a gorgeous little dockside slice of Baltimore, and it was perfect for their engagement session. Courtney’s brother even lived in the neighborhood and met up with us for a bit! Courtney and Chris currently live in Boston, but they’re from Maryland and are getting married in the Baltimore area this fall. The engagement session was such a fun way for us to get to know each other, and the misty morning must’ve scared off most of the crowds because we practically had the place to ourselves!

So often I find myself shooting in gardens, parks, and abundant green space, so shooting along the streets and docks of Fells Point was such a fun challenge. After exploring Fells Point, we drove to Orioles Park for a few more portraits outside the stadium. Courtney is a Baltimore sports fan while Chris is a Boston sports fan, so this was a fun way to capture their rivalry! I absolutely love it when couples choose locations that are unique and special to them – it makes the portraits that much more meaningful!

Thanks so much for trusting me, you two! Enjoy a few favorites, and be sure to check back in for Courtney and Chris’s wedding recap this October!
