What can I possibly say about Lindsey and Mike? These two are pure joy in every sense of the word, so it’s no surprise that their wedding was a total vibe from start to finish. They love spending time on the water together, so a fall wedding at Herrington on the Bay was an obvious choice with its stunning views and lush coastal landscape.
A color palette of blush, taupe, and navy complimented the natural beauty of the Chesapeake Bay perfectly. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky, and the summer temperatures were finally giving away to fall. The sunset never disappoints at Herrington, and the couple shared a drink on the pier as the sun set behind them. It was the perfect way to stay grounded in the moment as the sound of their loved ones’ revelry wafted through the air.
While there were happy tears and emotional moments, overall, Lindsey and Mike’s wedding was a total party. Instead of a traditional flower girl, a beer boy stole the show at the ceremony, treating guests to a cold one before the formalities began. Guests enjoyed Nashville hot chicken during cocktail hour, a nod to one of Lindsey and Mike’s favorite cities. The couple surprised their guests with a fireworks display after dark, and Mike took over on lead vocals to belt out his favorite karaoke song, Walking in Memphis.
Congrats, Lindsey and Mike. Wishing you all the happiness in the world!
