An Old World Longwood Gardens Engagement Session

Longwood Gardens engagement session

Anna & Lance

These portraits feel like they’re straight out of a Parisian fairytale, which is only fitting considering the circumstances! I’ve wanted to work at this location for years and when Anna described her vision for their engagement portraits, I knew it was the perfect for them. I met Anna and Lance for their Longwood Gardens engagement session literally as I was on my way to catch a flight to Europe. Longwood Gardens has a serious Tuileries Garden vibe, so it felt like we’d been transported to Paris!

It was hot on this beautiful June day, and the Longwood Gardens was in full bloom. There were a fair amount of visitors at the park, but for the most part, we had the place to ourselves. For couples that want an Old World, fine art garden aesthetic, I can’t think of a better venue! The ornate fountains, perfectly manicured tree-lined paths, and sprawling rose bushes were truly a delight to witness.

Anna and Lance are getting married at the Baltimore Country Club later this year, and I’m counting down the days until their wedding! Based on their engagement session, I have a feeling we’re in for some incredible wedding portraits.

Enjoy a few of my favorites from this Longwood Gardens engagement session!
