Potomac View Terrace Wedding in Washington DC

There are so many things to love about being a Washington DC wedding photographer, but days like Julie and Kevin’s truly take the cake. I loved every last detail of their Potomac View Terrace wedding but most importantly, their loved ones made my job an absolute joy.

I always knew that Julie and Kevin were my people, but when both Gilmore Girls *and* Pride and Prejudice were mentioned during toasts, it was official. We were meant to be. They both have a warm, welcoming presence, don’t sweat the small stuff, and value their relationships above all else. When Julie’s five brothers welcomed Kevin to the family with raucous laughter, I couldn’t help but cheer along with the rest of the crowd. There was a palpable ease among the guests as they danced the night away under the stars.

The top-notch vendor team was led by Emily at Simply Styled Events, who designed the colorful, elegant fall wedding of my dreams. Steelcut Flower Company’s ceiling installation had my jaw on the ground, and the Black Tie Band kept the dance floor packed all night long.

Congratulations, Kevin and Julie. Enjoy a few of my favorites below!
