Washington DC Maternity Session

Without a doubt, the best part of my job is having the privilege of documenting so many of my clients’ happiest milestones. I photographed Aili and Tom’s wedding in 2019, and now I get to have a front row seat as they embark on the journey of parenthood. These two are expecting their first baby this spring and are enrolled in the AWP Baby Membership. That means we’ll meet for portraits four times over the next year to document baby’s growth, starting with their Washington DC maternity session!

The DC monuments are a favorite choice for winter portraits, and it doesn’t get more classic than the Lincoln Memorial. We met on an unseasonably warm February day and created maternal magic together. Aili is absolutely glowing, and I can’t wait to see them both as parents.

Enjoy a few favorites from our time together, and check back this spring to find out if they had a boy or a girl! Congratulations, you two!

Welcome to the world, Bonnie! I’m so excited to share this sweet girl’s newborn session at home in Washington DC today! I photographed Lindsey and Andrew’s maternity session earlier this spring at Washington National Cathedral. Luckily we fit in their maternity session when we did, because Bonnie was born just 48 hours afterwards. Now I’ve […]

Congratulations, Caitlyn and Austin! I first met Caitlyn and Austin almost two years ago, when the two vacationed in southern Maryland and hired me to take their engagement photos in Solomons.
