Winter is the perfect time for in-home lifestyle portraits! I’ve worked with the M family a few times now, and I knew the interior of their home would be perfect for a relaxed morning together. In-home portraits are fantastic for young families. The kids feel comfortable in the environment they know best, and there’s no rush to get everyone out the door, meaning you simply get to enjoy time with each other.
When planning in-home lifestyle sessions with my clients, I like to design the shoot around the home’s decor as well as an activity that’s meaningful to the family. For the M family, that meant outfits with subtle hints of blue and baking cookies together! The boys had so much fun helping with the cookies and showing me around their home.
