While there’s a lot to love about being a Maryland wedding photographer, one of the best parts of my job has to be bringing my couples’ visions to life. Whether it’s documenting their waterfront wedding day or helping them design and execute a unique engagement session, I get such joy in seeing their ideas to completion. Michelle and Chris are one of those incredible couples! We planned a beautiful engagement session in the Inner Harbor of Baltimore that really featured some epic moments on a mini-yacht at sunset! 

Baltimore Engagement Session  

Before we headed to the Inner Harbor, I met Michelle and Chris at their beautiful home. I also got to meet their sweet cat and dog. At their apartment, we leaned into the cozy vibes that come from being with someone you love at home. Michelle and Chris are adorable together! They enjoyed some champagne and snuggled up in the kitchen. It was perfect! 

Inner Harbor Engagement Session

After their cozy portraits at home, we headed down to the Inner Harbor. Michelle and Chris have the sweetest friends – their best man, Patrick, was willing to host them on his boat for their engagement session. As the sun began to set, Patrick sailed us around so we could enjoy the harbor and views of Baltimore. Let me tell you: the vibes of this session were immaculate. Think a Gatsby-inspired playlist, a yummy charcuterie spread, a beautiful sunset and perfect warm weather… and you’ve got Michelle and Chris’ engagement portraits. The best part was that you can see how much fun Michelle and Chris had. That’s what engagement sessions are all about: spending time together and celebrating what’s ahead.
