A Studio Sitter Session | Maryland Baby Photographer

Baby EmmaLou’s first year is FLYING by! I cannot believe how much this girl has grown since her newborn session last summer. She’s a petite little string bean with the most gorgeous head of hair! Just look at those gorgeous brunette locks!

Between her adorable features and her sweet disposition, EmmaLou made my job way too easy. She arrived in a fantastic mood and especially loved Leigh – but what else is new, the babies always like her best! Her sweet thumb-sucking reminded me so much of my daughter, Ellie. Photographing EmmaLou totally took me back to when my own babies were babies, if only for a few moments. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to freeze time for my clients – she won’t be like this for long!

My favorite moment was when EmmaLou’s mom, Sarah, got in front of the camera towards the end! The baby portraits are stunning of course, but the images of EmmaLou and her mama will be so cherished 10, 20, 50 years from now. I know how hard it is to be photographed postpartum, but I promise to do everything I can to take care of you and make you look your very best!

Thank you so much for trusting me Sarah! Can’t wait to start planning EmmaLou’s cake smash session. It’ll be here before we know it!

Sailboat Engagement Session in Baltimore's Inner Harbor

 01

Engagement sessions are meant to be romantic, intimate, and centered on the quiet connection between two people in love. For Zack and Kara, their sailboat engagement session in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor was the epitome of romantic engagement. There is something about being out on the water with sunlight dancing across the water’s surface and the […]

I’ve honestly lost track of how many times I’ve photographed this family now, and each time truly gets better and better! Sticking with one photographer over the years is one of the best things a family can do, because it allows everyone to feel more comfortable and genuinely enjoy the session. One thing is certain, […]

When you have clients that love and appreciate art as much as Isabella and Jory, you find a way to showcase that love in photos. For them, that meant a National Gallery of Art engagement session. It turned out more perfect than I could have imagined. Including personal items or highlighting shared interests is something […]
