The Neal Family | Amanda Wose Photography

Last Sunday, I headed over to Greenwell State Park to meet the Neal family for a lifestyle session. Amy and I work together, but it was my first chance meeting the rest of her family, including the most adorable boys, Grayden and Dawson.

Seriously, how cute are they?! Those hats.

Greenwell was a really special location for the family, because it’s where Amy and her husband, Tracy, were married. I hadn’t been to the park in years, so it was refreshing to shoot somewhere “new” and rediscover such a beautiful little nook of St. Mary’s County!

I had a blast hanging out with these guys, especially as a mom of two girls myself. The boys were thrilled by the horses at the park, and one seemed equally enthralled with us!

It was absolutely frigid the day of the shoot, so the boys were especially cuddly with mom and dad. This made for some sweet shots!

With Christmas just around the corner, I couldn’t resist a quick holiday banner photo!

And that’s a wrap for the Neal family! This was my last shoot until after Christmas, so I’ve been using the “down time” to research professional print labs, study up on newborn photography techniques, and set up my little “at-home” studio. Big things are coming in 2017!

Engagement sessions are meant to be romantic, intimate, and centered on the quiet connection between two people in love. For Zack and Kara, their sailboat engagement session in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor was the epitome of romantic engagement. There is something about being out on the water with sunlight dancing across the water’s surface and the […]

I’ve honestly lost track of how many times I’ve photographed this family now, and each time truly gets better and better! Sticking with one photographer over the years is one of the best things a family can do, because it allows everyone to feel more comfortable and genuinely enjoy the session. One thing is certain, […]

When you have clients that love and appreciate art as much as Isabella and Jory, you find a way to showcase that love in photos. For them, that meant a National Gallery of Art engagement session. It turned out more perfect than I could have imagined. Including personal items or highlighting shared interests is something […]
