Weddings

Putting it out into the universe.

I believe firmly in the power of manifestation. I’m a walking-and-talking example of speaking a goal into reality, so let’s keep it up: I want to start booking weddings.

Not to worry – I will always love my family and newborn clients. I connect to your stories, your struggles, your successes, and I will always be honored to be your visual storyteller.

But.

As long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of weddings. As a child, my sister and I would pretend we were wedding coordinators and put on lavish affairs for Ken and Barbie. (I guess you could say they were my first clients?) In college, I was blessed to spend three years as the University of Maryland Chapel‘s wedding coordinator, where I planned and executed countless ceremonies. I remember watching the photographers, so calm and in tune with the needs of their client, with a tremendous sense of awe.

Once it was time to plan my own wedding, it’d be an understatement to say I immersed myself in the task. Nearly every detail was lovingly crafted by hand, and after the wedding, I even opened an Etsy shop so that I could continue serving brides around the world by creating custom wedding decor.

But something was missing: that personal connection with my clients, the ability to be a blessing to them in person, by their side, on the most beautiful day of their lives. I want that – I crave that. I believe it’s where I’m meant to go from here.

I need your help to get there. Stepping into the wedding industry is no easy task. I’m putting in the work on my end – studying every single day under some of the most respected wedding photographers in the industry, collaborating with and learning from local photographers, and serving my portrait clients to the very best of my ability.

Friends, if you know someone that is searching for a wedding photographer, I’d be honored if you referred them to me. I’ll treat them to a complimentary engagement session so that we can get to know one another and confirm that we’re a good fit. If they choose to book me as their wedding photographer, I’ll treat you to a complimentary portrait session. It’s a win-win-win.

This was ridiculously hard to write and if you’re still here – thank you! Inhale, exhale, post. I can’t wait to hear from you.

How adorable is Baby Wyatt? We captured a darling studio milestone session in Southern Maryland at Costola Studio with his family! Congratulations to Lindsay and Kyler! They’re welcoming a baby girl, Florence, this month. I can’t wait to meet her in just a few weeks. To celebrate her upcoming arrival, Lindsay and Kyler planned a maternity session at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington DC. I photographed Lindsay and Kyler’s wedding back in 2021, so it […]
