August was a major baby boom month here at the studio, and I’m so excited to start sharing some beautiful recaps with you! A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing baby Grace on Fort Belvior in northern Virginia. Talk about an AMAZING hospital! The maternity wing was immaculate and beautifully decorated. It felt more like a hotel than a hospital, I highly recommend checking it out if you’re able to!
Grace is the FOURTH baby girl for the Scott family and oh my goodness, daddy is wrapped around his girls’ fingers. It was so sweet watching him interact with his girls, especially his brand new baby! As a mom of girls myself, there’s just something about a dad and his daughters!
Another fun fact: I was Grace’s very first visitor outside her immediate family! That’s why I love Fresh 48 sessions so much, the baby is still so new and fresh. These sessions occur while you’re still at the hospital, typically the day after birth, and are unposed so as not to interfere too much with your recovery and bonding time.
Grace came and visited the studio two weeks later for her newborn session, and was the smiliest little girl! She gave us the biggest grins that would just melt her parents into a puddle. As parents to four girls now, the session gave them an opportunity to just sit back and relax for a bit. We’re happy to give parents a break and get some beautiful images at the same time!
Thanks so much for trusting me to create these, Scott family! I hope to see you again soon!
