A Family Session at Jefferson Patterson Park
This was seriously EVERYTHING a family portrait session should be! Theresa scheduled it as a gift to the family, because her son and daughter-in-law, Tanner and Sara, were moving abroad for work. What better way to send them off than with some beautiful new portraits to take with them!?
These six were no strangers to my camera, as I also photographed Jessica and Dayne’s wedding in November. It felt like a big old reunion! It’s SO much easier to be photographed when everyone is comfortable and familiar with one another. Not only does it make the actual session experience more fun, but you can totally see in the images how much fun we were having!
We chose Jefferson Patterson Park because I knew the early March weather would likely be gloomy at best. I wanted to make sure the images were still bright and cheery despite the forecast, and this is my favorite location that’s green and beautiful year-round! Fortunately the rain and snow held off, and you can hardly even tell it was winter!
I’m so thankful to have been a part of so many Blofsky family milestones in the past year. My job is way too easy and fun with families like this one that trust me, even enough to give me their own ideas. Make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to see one of my new favorite family portraits EVER – that was totally their idea!
Thanks so much for spending an afternoon with me, Blofsky family! Please enjoy a few favorites!
