A Springtime Old Town Engagement Session
After all the time we’ve spent in Old Town Alexandria lately, it’s safe to say we know this city like the backs of our hands now! We met Hannah & Casey at Founder’s Park for their engagement session Saturday evening. And finally, the forecast was on our side! It was the perfect night for portraits, with slight cloud cover, perfect temps, and a warm breeze. I wish every day could be like this one – and not just because of the weather!
These two are such a joy to be around. Hannah is a sixth grade math teacher and Casey is an accountant, which means they’re both waaaay better with numbers than I am. Communication major over here! They met while playing soccer in college, and the rest is history. Now they’re planning a destination wedding in Mexico next summer, and we loved hearing about their wedding plans. Hannah’s envisioning a palette of dusty blues, which is going to be SO gorgeous against that white sand and turquoise sea! Pack me in your suitcase, please!
My favorite thing about these two was how much fun they have together. All throughout our time together, they both had the biggest smiles on! Hannah & Casey swear they aren’t models, but I’m pretty sure they’ve done this before. They’re total naturals in front of the camera! If the engagement session was this easy, just imagine how stunning their wedding is going to be!
Please enjoy getting to know these two through a few favorites from their engagement session!
