Baby Nicholas | A Baltimore Lifestyle Newborn Session

A Baltimore Lifestyle Newborn Session

Look out Baltimore: there’s a handsome new head of hair in town! After months of planning, I finally got to meet baby Nicholas for his in-home newborn session. And I’d say he was WORTH THE WAIT! His family was Team Green, so they didn’t know he’d be Nicholas until he was born! I always admire families that can wait nine months to find out whether they’re having a boy or a girl. I had to know as soon as possible!

Nicholas slept like a rock for his entire session. I’m not sure I ever even saw his eyes! He’s got that laid-back, second kid personality down pat. Big sister Hadley loved jumping all over, giving him kisses, and he didn’t seem to mind at all!

I love in-home newborn sessions because they feel like a little time capsule, bottling up baby’s first days at home. This family is only in the area for a few more months before they move back to New York, and what better way to remember their first home as a family of four?!

The light in their home is absolutely stunning, but it was the view out the back door that really took my breath away! Their building is right on the Inner Harbor, offering a breathtaking view of Baltimore’s iconic skyline. It was nearly high noon before we headed out to the docks, but I knew this was going to be the hero image of the whole session. Scroll to the bottom to see what I mean! I hope this image gets printed BIG to always remind them of their time as Marylanders!

Thanks so much for trusting me, Nagai family! Congratulations on baby Nicholas!
