Brittany & Chris | A Intimate Bliss in the Barn Wedding

Another stunning wedding day is in the books! We had the privilege of photographing Brittany & Chris’s big day last weekend, and it was one that kept us smiling all the way home. These two planned an intimate wedding, featuring lots of greenery, vintage touches, and organic neutral tones. They chose Bliss in the Barn as their wedding venue and even though it was my first time working there, I hope it’s not the last! It’s a gorgeous location that feels like the epitome of southern Maryland, featuring a beautiful white washed barn and sprawling green space.

Brittany and Chris’s wedding day was truly a family affair, with Brittany’s mom doing much of the planning and her dad, Rodney, even officiating the wedding. I have to say, it was one of my favorite ceremonies ever! Wedding guests were treated to a delicious taco bar that seriously had us salivating. Y’all know how much I love tacos, so this was totally up my alley!

My favorite part of the whole day was when we had a few moments to sneak away for some husband and wife portraits. Can you believe we cranked out all of these portraits (plus so many more!) in just ten minutes?! Chris and Brittany are absolute NATURALS in front of the camera! They made my job way too easy! I loved getting to know these two a little and spend some two-on-one time with them! After portrait time, we headed back to the reception for a first dance under this gorgeous Edison bulb installation. The glowy light was the perfect end to a beautiful evening!
