It’s hard to believe it’s only been 10 days since this gorgeous styled engagement shoot at Rosewood Farms! So much has changed in the world since then, thanks to coronavirus. As fears mounted about the virus and impending economic impacts on small businesses, this session was such a ray of sunshine in a dark time. I’m so thankful to have been included!
It all started last summer, when I reached out to Rosewood Farms on Instagram to set up a venue tour. I’d been admiring the property for months on social media, and I just had to see it in person! While I was there, Alicia, Rosewood’s marketing coordinator, asked if I’d like to participate in an upcoming giveaway to celebrate their 100th wedding booking.
They planned to gift one couple with an over-the-top date night for two at the venue, including a salon visit, five course meal, hotel accommodations, and a photo session with yours truly. Naturally I was thrilled at the opportunity to shoot there, and so the plan began to come together as Jordan and Nate were chosen as the winning couple!
With so many gorgeous gifts provided by local wedding vendors, the evening almost felt like a styled shoot! The evening couldn’t have gone to a sweeter couple, and it was the perfect reminder of what really matters. Weddings may be postponed and life might not look like we’d planned right now, but at the end of the day, LOVE is what’s most important.
Please enjoy a few of my favorite images from this shoot, and be sure to check out all of the incredible vendors that made it happen!
