A Mansion at Valley Country Club Wedding | Caroline & Kevin

If you’re dreaming of a romantic wedding with dusty blues, beautiful florals, and an epic, lush green ceremony backdrop – you are in the right place! Caroline and Kevin were married at the Mansion at Valley Country Club in a heartfelt celebration filled with happy tears.

Caroline and Kevin hired a rockstar vendor team, many of whom also happened to be friends of the family – so to say I felt nervous is an understatement! The team was so welcoming and worked together to make the wedding a ray of sunshine not just for the couple, but for their guests as well. Goodness knows we could all use some happiness right now, and this wedding day fit the bill perfectly!

Once I arrived, I soon learned that the whole “big wedding” was totally Kevin’s idea. Caroline wanted to elope, and was feeling nervous as the ceremony time approached … which is so normal! The nerves soon turned into excitement as soon as she saw her dad and brother. This family shares such a special connection, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room once they saw Caroline in her wedding dress.

Guests were welcomed into a lush, green courtyard for the ceremony. My favorite moment was when Kevin’s nephew, Ethan, wasn’t quite sure about walking down the aisle by himself … until he saw his dad (Kevin’s brother and best man) waiting at the end with his pacifier! Parents of toddler ring bearers and flower girls, take note. That trick worked like a charm!

Right after the ceremony we rolled right into portrait time. Caroline wore the most perfect flowy veil that absolutely glowed in the sunlight! Best of all, it’s a bit of a traveling veil between Caroline and her friends. Caroline’s sister and a few other friends have also worn it for their weddings, which I absolutely love!

While the big wedding might have been Kevin’s idea, Caroline was totally on board once she had her friends and family surrounding them with joy. At least three times she said to me “I’m just so happy!!!” and that is exactly how your wedding day should feel!

As the night came to a close, the DJ closed out the night with “Sweet Caroline” – which of course made me think of my own Caroline and what her wedding might be like someday. It honestly makes me emotional to even think about!

Caroline and Kevin, thank you for trusting me! Please enjoy a few favorites from their wedding day, and be sure to visit their vendors as well!
