Kara Maureen Branding Portraits

Where to even begin with Kara?! We’ve known each other a few years now, and it’s been absolutely amazing watching her business grow and evolve. Kara is a bridal coach and wedding officiant, and truly, there isn’t a better person to have in your corner than this woman right here.

There’s so much focus on the wedding during an engagement, but Kara challenges her couples to consider the actual marriage – and surrounding relationships – during the wedding planning process. As a people-centered photographer, her message totally resonates with me! Yes the wedding is important, but at the end of the day, the marriage is what really matters.

If you need someone to help you navigate all of the stress and drama that inevitably comes with getting married, Kara’s got you covered!

With all of this in mind, I wanted Kara’s branding portraits to feel warm, elevated, and approachable. We chose to shoot in her home for this session, as if she had invited her audience in for a cup of tea and a long talk. Luckily Kara’s home is totally on brand for her, featuring blush pinks, ornate wall art, and beautiful natural light!

Enjoy a few of my favorites from Kara’s branding portrait session, and definitely check out her website HERE! To learn more about booking your own branding session, visit this link.

Sticking with one photographer over the years is one of the best things a family can do, because it allows everyone to feel more comfortable and genuinely enjoy the session. One thing is certain, […]

When you have clients that love and appreciate art as much as Isabella and Jory, you find a way to showcase that love in photos. For them, that meant a National Gallery of Art engagement session. It turned out more perfect than I could have imagined. Including personal items or highlighting shared interests is something […]

When you think of wedding photography, your mind probably goes straight to the romantic wedding portraits, like the epic first kiss at the ceremony, or the newlywed’s first dance. While these wedding day moments are essential and some of my favorites to capture, there are other photos that are just as important but often overlooked […]
