Anna & Dylan

If you love cute dogs and their even cuter humans, you’re in the right place! I met Anna and Dylan a few weeks ago for their engagement session at Greenwell State Park and had the best time getting to know these two. Thanks to social media, it kind of felt more like meeting up with old friends! We have so much in common, like our shared love of live music, Nashville, and golden retrievers. I’m so glad they’re an AWP couple!

Dylan is a lot like my husband, Adam, in that having photos taken isn’t exactly high on the list of fun things to do on a gorgeous evening off. Honestly, I think we all feel that way – can I get an amen?! That’s why I prefer more of a guided approach, with lots of movement and less stiff posing, and spending just as much time talking to each other as we do actually taking photos. The first image you see below is literally the FIRST image I took the entire evening – so clearly, Anna and Dylan crushed it!

After strolling around Greenwell, we headed to their home a few minutes down the road to wrap up the session with their pups, Nash and Dierks. Not only was this location special because it’s their home, but right on their front lawn is exactly where Dylan proposed to Anna! We wrangled the pups for a portrait right as the sun was fading from the sky, then we called it a night!

Congrats Anna and Dylan! Can’t wait for the wedding next fall!
